Special speaker to address MV Republican Women
ST. IGNATIUS — Mission Valley Republican Women’s Group will meet on Thursday, June 29, at the St. Ignatius Senior Center from 6-9 p.m. From 6-7 p.m. there will be a light reception and from 7-9 p.m. a special speaker, Debbie Bacigalupi, will discuss her meeting at the Governor’s Conference as well as give updates on other areas of the Pacific Northwest. Debbie Bacigalupi is a sixth-generation Californian from a farming and ranching family and is an avid rural advocate. She will share her insight on our local agricultural issues. There will be no meeting in July and our regular meeting schedule will resume on Aug. 7, the first Monday of the month.

Go to Allison Road for Amish Quilt Auction
ST. IGNATIUS — The 15th annual Amish Community Quilt and Consignment Auction will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 8. There will be 100-plus quilts, furniture, flowers, cabin kits and more. Lunch of barbecue chicken, potatoes, coleslaw and pies by local ladies will be available. Deadline to advertise consignment items is June 20. Call 406-218-4885 or 406-745-4395, for more information.

ST. IGNATIUS — The American Legion Auxiliary Post 106 will have a yard sale on Saturday, July 8, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. across from the St. Ignatius Airport on Airport Rd. ‘Underground Church’ theme for VBS
ST. IGNATIUS — “Paul and the Underground Church” is the theme for the Vacation Bible School being held at the United Methodist Church, (top of Post Creek Hill). The program is for children ages 4 and older and goes from 5-8 p.m. between July 10-13. This program is a collaboration between Faith Lutheran and the United Methodist Church.
